    Claire worked with Hartley’s Jelly on a Back to School Lunchbox campaign in September 2016, creating a series of healthy lunchbox swaps and worked with the successful parenting blogger, Honest Mum (Vicki Psarias), to create a balanced lunchbox plan for the school week.  Claire and Vicki also took part in a radio day to promote the campaign and spoke to a wide range of local and national radio stations.

    Claire worked with the Marketing team at Pizza Hut to create a nutrition strategy for their kids’ menu.  She created a nutrient profile for defining healthier options, nutritionally modelled the wide variety of menu choices, set targets for total meal based upon age-appropriate nutritional needs and made recommendations for portion size and reformulation.  Claire worked closely with the in-house team to ensure all recommendations were nutritionally appropriate while remaining commercially and operationally viable and the feedback on the end result was excellent.  She has since worked on nutrition communications and longer term PR strategy with the Pizza Hut team.

    Claire is a nutrition consultant for Ella’s Kitchen advising on nutrition strategy, product development, corporate social responsibility campaigns and nutrition communications. She has worked on Ella’s Kitchen’s very successful range of cookbooks and played a key role in the Start Smart community public health campaign.     Claire has acted as Selfridges Food Hall’s consultant nutritionist for several years, most recently working on the development of a major new product range for Selfridges Own Label and the EveryBody health campaign. Claire developed brand leading nutritional guidelines for a wide range of small artisan producers and advised on product claims, communications and PR. This focussed on the Lucozade Elite brand, communicating key product benefits for this product range that is aimed at serious athletes who are going the extra mile. She also worked on the communication of the outputs of an academics’ meeting that discussed nutrition and hydration in endurance performance and has created materials to support the Maxinutrition brand.
